Acknowledgement |
Top Previous Next |
The text you enter into the Acknowledgement field will be displayed at the end of the application, immediately before the electronic signature. You should consult your attorney to be sure you are using the appropriate legal language. For your protection, “boilerplate” language has been configured as a default for this field. It will show up on your application if you do not add any text to the Acknowledgement field. The default language meets Federal electronic signature requirements. If your state has additional requirements, you must enter specific language to the Acknowledgement field. When you enter text into the Acknowledgement configuration field, it replaces the system's boilerplate language.
We cannot guarantee that the boilerplate language conforms to the requirements of your jurisdiction. You may leave yourself exposed if you use it without effective legal counsel.
Click on the "Click to View" link in this screen to review the boilerplate language. Be sure to check with your attorney regarding requirements for application submissions and electronic signatures, as the default information may not suffice in your jurisdiction. |
