Edit a Profile

Top  Previous  Next

It is not normally necessary to edit RP Management list profiles, since most updates should be first made in PROMAS.  When you synchronize profiles from PROMAS and update your online profiles, the changes will automatically be modified in your RP Management list profile.  However, in some cases, you may need to edit individual profiles to customize authorizations.

HomeRentals.net members that do not synchronize profiles from PROMAS, but instead manually enter and manage list profile data, will need to use the “Edit” option to update profiles.

To make changes to an online profile, click the “Edit” icon beside its record in the Owner, Tenant, or Vendor list. Client Authorization levels are configured from the edit profile screen (Figure 19).  All clients who use the online system must have profile authorization levels configured, whether you use PROMAS or not.

There is a Master Level Function that updates of all of your existing profile authorizations at once.  Please contact your HomeRentals.net System Administrator to request assistance.

Please review the Management Defaults section of this guide for more information about configuring default authorizations for newly imported PROMAS profiles.

Authorization options may include:

1.Online access
2.Online statements
3.Online documents
4.Online payments
5.Online feedback
6.Online work requests
7.Exclude this vendor

If the VR Management System has been enabled in your system:

8.        Online Bookings

9.        Online Reservations

The available options depend on the account type (Owner, Tenant, or Vendor).  If you mark the checkbox beside an option, it will be enabled (or turned on).  If you remove the mark from the checkbox beside an option, it will be disabled (or turned off).  If a client reports a problem accessing one of these features, you should check their profile to make sure their authorization levels have been properly configured.
