Some of the System Options are intended for custom uses, are reserved for use with future versions of the system, or are reserved for use with beta features. You should configure System Options as instructed by a HomeRentals.net system user’s guide, or at the direction of a HomeRentals.net Member Support Representative.
Before you configure System Options (Figure 4), make sure that you have first configured System Preferences. The options you enable under Configuration-> System Preferences will determine which system options are available.
Online Convenience Fee (Owners, Tenants, Applications): These System Options allow you to add a convenience fee to your Online Payment transactions. The Online Payment feature integrates with the RP/VR Management Systems. The Online Convenience Fee configuration fields are only visible if you have the RP/VR Management System and have enabled Online Payments from the Configuration->System Parameters->System Preferences menu. Please refer to the “Appendix II - Online Payments” section of this guide for more information.
Payment Account ID: You will enter a payment account ID in this field only if you are using the Online Payments feature of the RP Management system. The Online Payments feature integrates with the RP/VR Management System; this option is only visible if you have the RP/VR Management System, and have enabled Online Payments from the Configuration->System Parameters->System Preferences menu. Please refer to the “Appendix II - Online Payments” section of this guide for more information.
PROMAS Manager ID: This System Option allows you to limit profiles imported from PROMAS to those of a specific manager. If you enter a PROMAS property manager ID into this field, only that property managers profiles will be added to this account’s RP/VR Management System. This field is used mostly by members that have multiple HomeRentals.net RP Management licenses, sharing a common PROMAS database. |
