Before proceeding, refer to the Appendix III: Configuring Online Work Requests section of this guide for more information about configuring Online Workorders. You must complete the configuration process before you begin using this feature.
There are menu options for both Tenant and Vendor profiles that operate in conjunction with the “Online Workorders” feature. The “Work Request” options will show up on the Tenant profile menu (Figure 42a); the “Workorders” options will show up on the Vendor profile menu (Figure 42b). A work request is a record of a problem that has been reported by a tenant. A workorder is a record of work a vendor must perform. The Online Workorders feature allows you to easily convert a work request into a workorder.
Your tenants will submit their work requests through MyRentalHome.com, or through your company’s PM Website. (Figure 42c)
